formed in 2015, stilwell & singleton is the result of a merger between two dover firms: stilwell & harby, who have practised in dover since the 18th century and castle street lawyers, singleton saunders flood. in april 2018 stilwell & singleton acquired emmerson, brown & brown. the firm now practises as stilwell & singleton in dover, deal and sandwich. this acquisition follows the decision of the partners of emmerson brown & brown to retire from full time practise. emmerson, brown & brown’s dover office will close, but stilwell & singleton will continue to practise from dover in their office on maison dieu road. emmerson's offices in high street, deal and potter street, sandwich will remain. stilwell & singleton provide advice and representation for a wide range of legal issues including all aspects of family law, conveyancing, wills, probate & estate planning, employment, revenue and customs and personal injury. we hold a family contract with the legal aid agency and are the only firm
