stir is an independent and locally owned coffee shop in the cb4 neighbourhood of cambridge. it is the social hub of the neighbourhood – a place for people to meet, connect, re-charge but also a place where you can escape and unwind. we serve butterworth & son coffee and a fresh, delicious and wholesome brunch in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. we were named coffee shop of the year in the cambridge news/bbc radio cambridgeshire food & drink awards for 2016 less than a year after opening and we were delighted to retain our crown for 2017. other accolades include being chosen by the famous espresso coffee machine company la marzocco as one of their 32 'best coffee shops in europe' and we have now featured alongside them at the last two london coffee festivals. we have been the subject of several great articles, including being one of only 3 coffee shops in the uk to be mentioned by name in the sunday times 'best places to live' guide. in april 2017, we opened stir bakery next door to
