stirred up is a non-profit, organization working with adolescent boys and girls from underprivileged backgrounds in inner-city atlanta. through the personal involvement of the staff of stirred up, these adolescents receive a foundation of hope through god's family life, educational assistance to help rescue them from the corruption of their environment and mentoring in the development of a god-centered relationship through sports or other areas where they can excel. we see lives transformed as we bring hope to these children who lack opportunities to reach beyond their circumstances. within each and every child is one primary need—to be loved. inner-city youth so desperately needs to be loved. they will never develop a sense of self-worth, will never explore the possibilities that the future might hold for them unless they know that someone loves and supports them. the forces threatening to extinguish the flames of hope in these young lives include single parent households, lack of hea
