stitch partners is a start-up company introducing a new, patented, air filtering technology, a plasma textile filter. it produces a cold atmospheric plasma (cap) that rapidly attracts and absorbs smoke in an enclosed space where venting is not an option, and it has been shown to deactivate airborne pathogens on contact. it filters submicron particles down to 10 nm. the air turnover rate in a room 10’ x 18’ x 8’ is 10 minutes with a ptf roughly 8” x 16”. stitch partners filed two patents for the technology and has an exclusive license with north carolina state university where it was developed.
