we are an affiliate of the society for human resource management. whether you are new to the hr field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point for networking, information, professional development and continued support of excellence in human resources. the st. lucie county human resources association (slchra) is the local chapter for the society for human resource management (shrm). slchra became an affiliate chapter of shrm in 1986 with the purpose of bringing together human resource professionals. slchra's current membership includes over 100 human resource professionals from a variety of organizations in the ft. pierce & port st. lucie, florida areas.
