complicated transactions made un-complicated [ in progress ] stoa capital is the first company, and the solo project, of jack arevalo. stoa is derived from the ancient greek, "stoa poikile." the stoa poikile, or painted porch, originally called the porch of peisianax, was a great hall erected during the 5th century bc on the north side of the ancient agora of athens. this was the hearth of the shared ideas of philosophers, fools, senators, and emperors. today, we start as the provider of models for all sorts of real estate transactions ― to give individuals the information to make proper decisions. tomorrow, and in perpetuity, i aim to make this something bigger. to turn capitally intensive developments, for-profit, into a nest egg of working capital primed for the development of homeless housing ― to give those people purpose and a role. the stoics weren't interested in what existed, rather with what they had and how to improve what they had ― gradually and methodically
