a small woodworking studio in portland, ore. here at stoic bear we pride ourselves on making our products by hand and with local materials. our shop is small but contains enough tooling and expertise to craft the most complex joints and designs while remaining true to the original craft. we look up to masters like gary rogowski at the northwest woodworking studio, chris schwarz of popular woodworking and roy underhill, creator of the woodwright's shop. spencer williams is the mastermind of the operation, having founded the company in 2012. despite being a one-man show, stoic bear is interested in collaborations with other artists and creators. we'd love to hear your project idea, whether it's just a sketch or a full realization. we're open to collaborating, but happy enough to work on it alone too. please direct inquiries to hello@stoicbear.com.
