since its beginning in 1994, stompgrip has blended together its creative vision with innovative product development to build traction products designed to enhance active lifestyles. the company was originally founded as stomp design unlimited inc. in huntington beach, california by dave molinari and paul longo, a couple of off-road and snowboard enthusiasts. the company soon thereafter became commonly known as “stomp” based on its early successes of creating high quality, 3d snowboard stomp pads and pioneering the first clear traction pads. the company branched out into off road and powersports products in the early 2000s by introducing its stompgrip product line. dave and paul officially changed the company's name to stompgrip inc. in 2012 and they continue to expand the company's traction offerings into new markets. stompgrip's in-house production team manufactures all of the company's products in its huntington beach facility. they operate under a just-in-time philosophy to ensu
