stone actuaries & consultants has relaunched in january 2014, with an increased service offering and a wider geographical focus, being south africa, africa and asia. we are based out of cape town, south africa, where services are provided both remotely and in-house across all these regions through our highly mobile consultants. we bring international skills and experience and provide specialist services to markets and companies of various levels of maturity. stone actuaries & consultants was founded in 2009 by daniel stone, a life insurance specialist and qualified actuary with 11+ years of experience. he has worked in a wide range of fields including varied-sized life offices, reinsurance, consulting and expert-level prophet modelling and project experience. he has worked in south africa, united kingdom and in the asean countries of singapore, malaysia, indonesia and thailand.
