Stone Skipping Hall of Fame

the stone skipping hall of fame (misshof) recognizes and honors competitors, officials, and others who have made outstanding contributions to the sport of stone skipping. the hall of fame is a vehicle to inform the general public of the achievements of stone skippers and to provide recognition of the sport’s most outstanding individuals. it is also an important means of preserving the most notable aspects of the heritage of stone skipping. candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for enshrinement into the misshof. competitor a stone skipper must have competed from a minimum of 5 years and be fully retired for two years before being eligible for enshrinement. they may then be considered for enshrinement in the third year of retirement. should a stone skipper come out of retirement for a short period of time, as defined by the misshof, their case and eligibility for enshrinement shall be reviewed on an individual basis. official an official must be fully re
