stone soup is a local, non-profit food service training enterprise creating employment opportunities for people at risk of homelessness in the greater portland, oregon area. stone soup supports the reintegration of homeless and those in temporary housing into the workforce through on-the-job training and a stable income that will provide them the skills necessary to find a job in the hospitality industry. we are a social enterprise that offers an upscale fine-dining experience and event-catering, a soup and sandwich lunch counter, and a soup cart that provides free, wholesome, handcrafted soups and fresh-baked artisanal breads to those that are not currently reached by traditional soup kitchens. our dining hall will cater to clients looking for a gourmet food experience, while also providing a variety of event services, including live music, and beer and wine pairings. our lunch counter will offer a basic array of lunchtime fare including freshly baked goods, and hearty soups, sandwich
