lifestyle brand in eco-friendly heating comfort. for several years the lifestyle brand that is stoov, was living in the entrepreneurial mind of teun van leijsen. not sure what his ambitions were with the brand, it lingered there for a while. then there was a girl. and she rocked teun’s world. they enjoyed many evenings together outside, by the fire. time flies by and together they wanted to start a family. it wasn’t until she was expecting, that she started craving more warming comfort. and this, my friends, is the exact moment when she inspired teun to act on his ambitions with stoov. teun, the hero that he is, decides to fabricate the first edition of a (what later appeared to be a very successful) heating cushion. that evening teun discovered the true value of warming comfort outside. the basic design that he made himself had possibilities. he wanted to share this comfort with all the lucky bums in the world. teun called maarten middelkoop, a friend and innovative product engineer.
