founded in 2008, stopgap inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides interactive, empowering life skills courses to at-risk youth, ages 15-21. we harness the knowledge and experience of other local agencies, such as the lawrence-douglas county health department and the willow domestic violence center, to provide expert, accessible classes to our participants. stopgap incorporated: empowering at-risk youth and youth who age out foster care from dependence, to independence.
