stories for society is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 after a period of research and development concerning the transformational potential of collective story-telling among children: learning becomes more compelling, communication easier and problems more accessible to solve. since then, we have learned that our method is equally relevant to youth and adults for similar reasons. what is our aim? in 1969 margaret mead said, ”never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has“. the so-called butterfly effect in modern research, explains the way that the beating of a butterfly’s wings can affect weather patterns in other parts of the world. small contributions can lead to great changes in the world. even if we work in small groups, our hope is that the shining ideas and enthusiasm delivered by participants will spread to wider areas, just as the effects of the flapping of a butterfly’s wings can lead
