stort chemicals ltd. is a leading independent speciality chemical distributor to the coatings and flavour & fragrance industries in the uk & ireland. formed in 1981 and celebrating 30 years trading in 2011, we are still 100% family-owned and managed. we have been members of the cba (chemical business association) for over 20 years and through them we are members of the responsible care programme. we use two third-party logistics companies (also fellow members of the cba) for our warehousing and distribution, one in rugby & one in preston. we specialise in technical sales and distribution and have worked hard on establishing long-term relationships with select raw material suppliers, some of whom we have been working with for over 30 years. we are always keen to add to our portfolio of products and welcome approaches from raw material manufacturers who are looking to introduce their products into the uk market or are looking for an experienced company to improve their sales penetration.
