Bishop's Stortford Squash & Racketball Club
founded in 1949, bishop’s stortford squash and racketball club is a facility owned entirely by its membership and operating on a non-profit basis. we are proud to have been named by england squash, ‘club of the year’ on two separate occasions. we welcome all ages, genders and standards of players and we host optional ongoing leagues, regular tournaments, exhibition matches and social events throughout the year. unlike some sports clubs and fitness organisations, membership to our club gives you a sense of belonging. members are people we consider to be part of the family – not a membership number passing through now and then. clubs like ours are rare, we are not corporately owned or managed and we are not run for profit. all surplus income is re-invested into our facilities for our members enjoyment. we are a government recognised community amateur sports club. the club is managed by andrew mulvey, with the support of a voluntary committee who meet regularly to act as a decision-maki
