storybooks for healing® is a social community, a writing program and a personal storybook publishing system. through any one or all three of these pathways, people who have experienced a significant loss use the tools to discover, publish and share -- a process which helps validate life, make meaning of loss and bring purpose from grief. "grief reflection" is the storybooks for healing writing program offered by bereavement professionals to assist individuals in making meaning of their grief and loss. together in a small support group, over eight weeks, participants discover, write and discuss the life and loss of their loved ones in a safe and supportive environment. after the program, and based on their program writing, participants may create their own special tribute storybook using photos and story to share with family and friends.
