Storytime Theater/Expressive Elocution

storytime theater is a multisensory immersion into the life of a book which helps students become more interested, involved and excited about reading. the non-reader, new reader, insecure, average and advanced reader always finds explorative drama through literature empowering and challenging. storytime theater improves concentration, focus, sensory awareness, listening, linguistics, problem solving, intra/interpersonal relationships as well as boosting self-esteem. storytime theatre is offered to pre-k through elementary students in weekly forty-five to sixty minute standards-based workshops or residencies. professional development workshops are also available. at present, storytime theater has a repertoire of over 50 stories. expressive elocution gives students the tools to be heard, to be understood and to be confident. expressive elocution provides a safe, supportive environment for students to learn how to vocally explore and express themselves in a variety of situations. through
