association let’s mediate is an independent not-for-profit initiative created by a group of enthusiasts of alternative dispute resolution (adr). as a group of young lawyers and academics we support all efforts to popularise mediation as an optimal method of dispute resolution. at the same time, we support the idea of amicability as the guiding principle behind effective systems of conflict management and conflict prevention. our motivation to take action is driven, first of all, by passion and desire for professional development. secondly, we are deeply convinced about efficiency of adr in the context of active and mature civil society and business relations that value dispute prevention and resolution methods designed for modern times – efficient, specialised and adjusted to the needs of clients. we aspire to become a forum for exchange of experiences for professional environment interested in adr – legal counsels, entrepreneurs, academic institutions – as well as a voice of this envi
