str8 2 the core wants to get to the core of the issues that affect black and brown communities across the country, promoting youth agency and bringing civic power into their homes. we’re committed to improving mental health and wellness within black and brown communities through capacity building, advocacy, organizing, movement building, and voter activation and engagement. we believe in a world where black and brown children are able to take their place in leadership roles across the nation at every level. we envision a world where black and brown children and future generations are better able to have total agency over the course of their lives, and their mental health and wellness journey. through the power of community building and grassroots organizing, we seek to offer opportunity to those who are too often left out of the conversation. we believe in civic activation and engagement at all ages, and we strive every day to promote the voices of our black and brown neighbors.
