eén keer per jaar kunnen kinderen hun protest tegen de gevaren in hun straat laten zien en horen. vanuit die gedachten organiseren wij (stichting noordpolder axel) al sinds 2000 de straatspeeldag in de jan van eyckstraat te axel. de afgelopen jaren zijn er tal van maatregelen getroffen binnen onze wijk die wij dan ook toejuichen, zoals verkeersdrempels en het onlangs terug ingestelde parkeerzoneverbod. tijdens de straatspeeldag worden verschillende straten binnen ons wijk noordpolder omgevormd tot verkeersvrij speelterrein. met allerlei acties vragen wij aandacht voor verkeersonveilige situaties. maar natuurlijk is de straatspeeldag vooral ook een groot kinderfeest.
