op 1 mei 1957 werd strago electro bv. opgericht en vestigde zich in de kerksteeg te gorinchem. de activiteiten waren toen reparaties van startmotoren en dynamo’s, het wikkelen van elektromotoren en reparaties van accu’s. uiteraard ook verkoop van deze componenten. het bedrijf breidde zich gestaag uit en dus werd in 1963 verhuisd naar de schelluinsestraat. de activiteiten werden uitgebreid met reparaties van diesel brandstofpompen en in 1966 werd de eerste sportveldverlichting geplaatst bij unitas in gorinchem. door verdere uitbreiding van de werkzaamheden werd in 1973 een nieuw bedrijfsgebouw betrokken op avelingen oost waar we nu nog steeds zijn gehuisvest. in 1973 werd ook de eerste elektrotechnische scheepsinstallatie op de frans, een steenstorter van acz, opgeleverd. in de loop der tijd is strago uitgebreid en zijn er verschillende disciplines binnen de elektrotechniek ontplooid. te weten: - installatietechniek - panelenbouw - scheepsintstallatie - sportveldverlichting - machinebou
