kenneth free founded straightline in 1993 after having left hilton hotels corporation where he was a senior executive in real estate development with worldwide responsibilities. straightline focuses on real estate development consulting for hotels, resorts, spa, timeshares, and related hospitality product types. starting in 1995, mr. free began offering expert witness testimony for these areas, as well. most expert engagements concern disputes involving real estate development, failed projects, or business interruption losses. a number of expert witness assignments fall under the purview of standard of care. these latter assignments have built upon mr. free's earlier career experience in hotel operations and finance (westin hotels and amfac hotels & resorts). mr. free and straightline have been engaged for projects in nineteen-countries. the company has had scores of clients since its founding, among them a number of very significant parties and engagements of significant magnitude and
