we started straightline because we got tired of wasting time. an hour flight shouldn't take three or four hours. it should take...well, an hour. quite a concept, we know. but there wasn't a private aviation program that was built for us. they were either too expensive or restrictive. we weren't interested in paying over $5k an hour and certainly didn't want to sign up for membership initiation fees and recurring dues. buying an aircraft - even a fraction of one - wasn't the answer. so we started from scratch to craft the perfect private aviation solution. not to build a business necessarily, but to make the benefits of private aviation more affordable and convenient for our own personal use. after exhaustive research and dialogue within the industry, we ultimately cracked the code. our "recipe" made for infinitely more affordable, convenient and flexible private aviation. as word spread, we made the recipe available to our friends and their friends. eventually, requests began coming ou
