this practice has been developed to simplify how people experience seeking support and guidance for mental health treatment. our goal is to ease the process of asking for help and expressing emotional needs, as we understand how difficult and challenging it can be. the hope is to extinguish the stigma and change the narrative surrounding therapy by attempting to decrease the sense of a need for overt diagnoses and/or medications. we aspire to strengthen the mental wellness of persons from all walks of life while equipping them with various tools, skills and techniques to thrive through life circumstances. with straightup counseling, you will receive authentic feedback while being empowered to embrace change, self-care and improvement in quality of life. it is our mission to promote and encourage healthy emotional intelligence, general life balance and healing.
