strand energy ltd (sel) was formed in early 2014 to sell energy produced within de-centralised systems. sel have developed a uniquely versatile acquisition system under which sel solves customers energy demands as well as their financial requirements for biomass heating installations. this system allows quite a few contract variations which are attractive to the end user but that are also attractive from an investors or re-financiers point of view. a key component of that acquisition system is a call option which allows the end use to acquire the system at a later date and take part in the rhi. the acquisition system is so versatile that it can be applied to other renewable energy installations including chp and containerised anaerobic digesters.
