strata’s main focus is on the diamond mountain phosphate project, located in the state of utah, which benefits from good historical data and which was recently jointed ventured by strata minerals. drilling is underway at the site now. strata has an option to earn up to 80% interest in the diamond mountain phosphate project with the objective of developing a low cost open pit phosphate production operation with the potential to extend underground. the project is adjoining to the west by simplot corporation’s vernal phosphate mine and beneficiation complex which reportedly produces at a rate of approximately 1 million tons per annum of concentrated phosrock grading an average of 30% p2o5. the interest in the diamond phosphate project is based on work done by us steel (uss) and information which is available in the files of the utah geological survey. uss evaluated the phosphate resources and drilled 23 exploration holes between 1967 and 1969. phosphate rock occurs as two benches. the low
