scdrr nepal is newly established nonproft, nongovernmental organization to contribute some efforts along with the collaboration of other national and international partners primarily in the field of disasters and also in environment management. vision assist and collaborate with national and international efforts by adopting disaster risk reduction measures to mitigate and prepare for all potential disasters in nepal mission to protect and prevent loss of life, property and environment from disaster by preparing the nepalese community through pre disaster risk reduction, mitigation, education, outreach and training programs. objectives minimize human suffering in disasters and emergencies. advocate for the right of the people in need related to disasters. promote preparedness and prevention. prevent economic impact caused by disaster. enhance disaster response capacity at community level through trainings and capacity building. facilitate sustainable solutions related to disasters.
