the strategy consulting initiative (sci) is a student-run program offered by the west coast student consulting society, a not-for-profit organization that provides pro-bono consulting services to businesses and charities in vancouver. top performing students work directly with organisations to perform consulting services consisting of hands-on research and high level strategic analysis while receiving mentorship from industry professionals. vision & purpose the strategy consulting initiative is dedicated to enhancing students’ learning and growth through collaboration with the vancouver business community. the program strives to deliver long-term value to its participating organizations while at the same time, providing students from the university of british columbia with the knowledge and experience necessary to gain a competitive advantage in the consulting industry. the program is designed with the intended goal of providing an opportunity where ubc students and vancouver businesse
