strategic planning and development ltd. was formed in 2001 as an international consultancy providing services to community groups, ngos and local authorities, governments and donors. in that time it has managed over 50 donor-funded projects in poland, romania, serbia, croatia and ukraine, amongst other countries. in this role spd has worked with dfid, the eu, world bank, iom, imf, and other bilateral donors. the work has included development and implementation of financial management and control systems and evidence based financial frameworks for government and the prioritisation and funding mechanisms for national capital investments; development of operational programmes for regional development and competitiveness and carrying out monitoring and evaluation assignments for programmes, grant schemes, projects and investments. in the uk spd works with private businesses and business owners helping to achieve their goals by improving profitability, sustainability and supporting innovati
