Stratford Rising

stratford rising is a consortium of arts and cultural providers, producers and educators based in stratford, east london. members range from grassroots social enterprises to established venues. all members are of equal standing as they each make a commitment in terms of time, expertise and creativity on top of their own demanding work programmes. the membership has evolved reflecting changes in stratford’s cultural scene, but several members have remained constant, providing important continuity including discover, east london dance, stratford circus, theatre royal stratford east and university of east london. our aim • to support the growth of stratford’s cultural sector. • to build the reputation of stratford as an exciting london cultural centre. • to bring our experience and expertise to support the regeneration of stratford. our role in the regeneration of stratford as a creative cultural sector we recognise that we have a role to play in the re-shaping of stratford and a responsi
