Strathmore Law Clinic

the strathmore law clinic is a student-run organisation founded with a view of foster access to justice and public service. clinicians are awarded a unique opportunity to acquire experience and hone practical skills in the legal industry while providing accurate legal information to the public. this is achieved through advocacy, outreach programs, social media campaigns, and partnerships with stakeholders in legal and non-legal fields. the strathmore law clinic's activities are supervised by a faculty oversight board consisting of the dean of the law school, a faculty director, one other member of faculty, and other students nominated by the steering committee. the steering committee of the slc consists of a president, vice president, secretary general, and finance officer and serves as the managing body, running its day to day affairs. the slc is structured into three units along thematic areas; human rights, criminal justice, and entrepreneurship. through these units, clinicians de
