Strathmore RFC

strathmore rugby club was founded in 1933, throughout the clubs history we have helped produce players who have gained district representative honours. the club has two senior teams with the 1st xv playing in the caledonia 1 league which covers an area from alloa in the south to caithness in the north. we are currently sitting second top of caledonia 1. more recently the club has also formed the “strathmore silverbacks” rugby league team giving all year round rugby action at inchmacoble park. the silverbacks have helped produce players who have a gained international honours with the scottish rugby league, and are currently scottish champions. the club’s junior section , the strathie sharks, is thriving and offers a quality and safe rugby environment to over 120 children of all ages and from all parts of forfar, kirriemuir and surrounding areas. in order to sustain and build on these achievements the club works hard on fundraising in a variety of ways. all sponsorship money raised d
