our mission the stratton foundation is a community based non-profit organization that cares about the health and welfare of children and their families in southern vermont. the mission of the stratton foundation is to address the challenges of poverty that stand between a child in-need and the opportunity to be healthy, safe, and educated. the goal of the stratton foundation is to end the cycle of generational poverty by helping at-risk children become successful adults. our footprint the stratton foundation creates and supports programs and families within the following footprint of: arlington, danby, dorset, jamaica, landgrove, londonderry, manchester, newfane-newbrook, peru, south londonderry, stratton, sunderland, townshend, wardsboro, weston, windham, and winhall. history founded in 1996, a small group of community-minded individuals shared a common love for the stratton mountain community and joined together with a goal to enhance the quality of life of their friends, neighbors
