stratum 3d manufacturing ltd is a new start-up focusing on bringing injection moulding materials, skills and experience to the rapidly changing world of 3d printing and additive manufacturing. we aim to add value to two main areas of additive manufacturing demand. rapid prototypes make 1 off prototypes in the material intended to the final production. currently prototypes are made in materials which either approximate properties of final materials; or are made of what the prototyping company can get. we intend to make our own materials and use these to produce prototypes based on the customers demand. rapid manufacturing we intend to make fully usable components available without the need for costly investment in production tooling. low volume production without initial tooling investment cost, tooling modification cost, tool maintenance cost, tooling storage responsibilities. each part can be difference from the last with any tooling costs.
