our mission to create joy in the hearts and souls of our young adopters. after all isn’t that what being a kid is about…joy and discovery. our vision to inspire a life of simpler times in small town america, using the latest tools to make it simple for our customers to remember the joy of adventure, learning, community and friendship. our founder susan straub-martin is the passionate artist, storyteller, and purveyor of hugs at strauberry studios. the idea that: “anything is possible! if you can dream it you can do it” is one the main principals she employees here at strauberry studios. susan started to draw at the age of 5 with her big box of 64 crayons and she has been drawing ever since. her love of flowers, animals and fun drive her work and her spirit. it is out of that spirit the buddies were born. poppy and lemon were created first in a series of art prints, then along came the bears, dogs and foxes. the buddies then went from an idea on paper to become lovable, huggable, washab
