at street sense organisation ghana, we seek to help bring sanity on our roads to reduce deaths and destruction caused by motor accident, by working along the un decade of action for road safety – a brief planning document and its framework for the 2nd decade of action (2021-2020), and along the national road policy of ghana. the policies, long-term or strategic and short term action plans of the organisation are based on the two afore-mentioned documents. we work with collaborators on the united nations decade of action on road safety and the national policy on road safety in the areas of: 1. policy and law formulation, review and implementation. 2. enforcement of rules for prevention and mitigation of road accidents. 3. communication with (information, awareness creation, and education to) perpetrators of road accidents. 4. post-crash care or emergency issues.
