the street to boardroom course is designed for people (18+) who find themselves caught up in a range of illegal activity; from selling drugs to theft and robbery. we give them the skills, knowledge and confidence to apply what they have learned from the streets to master the legal hustle. the issues of crime and anti-social behaviour among young people/adults in our inner cities are usually attributed to poor parenting, academic underachievement and sometimes, even genetics. for many young people, their aspirations and talent are undermined by structural disadvantages in the economy that drive them to poor choices and destructive behaviour. we want to bridge the gap between two worlds for positive social change.
