streettread dance studio is the home of brisbane’s funkiest hip hop, acrobatic and street style dance school. with more than 200 enrolments, students perform everything from hip hop to circus. our studio is growing and classes are in demand. streettread was founded by accomplished teacher and seasoned professional dancer, michelle klekner. with more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, her choreography and technical teaching abilities have made her well respected in brisbane’s dance scene. she launched this unique school for students who love to dance but don’t want to be bound by formal examination testing or hectic concert and eisteddfod schedules. streettread’s mission is to spread a love of raw urban hip hop, acrobatic and funky street styles of dance. our upbeat attitude and love of performing means streettread classes turn fitness into fun.
