some people say that bullying can never be eradicated, and in some ways there is a truth to this statement. however, that does not mean we should sit back and let it happen. much like a garden that is left untended, where weeds will inevitably start to grow, bullying will naturally develop in a community where measures are not put in place to effectively deal with it. this means that to see a time when bullying is no longer an issue, we must remain vigilant and consistent. our first plan is start up a training scheme for any young person who wishes to become the front line in defence against bullying. we will equip them with the skills to step in when an incident of bullying arises and mediate between the parties involved to resolve the situation. we understand that in some cases the situation may be too much, or too difficult for the young person to deal with alone. in these cases they will be able to refer these cases back to us and we will have a team ready to liaise with any partie
