perform engineering design & analysis of oil & gas field pressure equipment, supported with a sound and conceptual understanding of complex failure mechanisms. perform integrity assessments and perform ffs analysis (level-ii & iii) of static pressure equipment internal mechanical failures, fatigue failures / defects, cracks, bulges, misalignments, creep damage, laminations flaws, pitting & metal loss, and prepare comprehensive reports on analysis and recommendations. perform alterations and re-rating of process equipment, prepare calculations, approvals, assess materials, welding, post-weld heat treatment, inspection, pressure testing, documentation and approve recertification. perform & lead failure analysis / technical studies of critical equipment and ‘bad actor-type’ performing equipment experiencing repetitive failures, establish technical root causes, and develop solutions to ensure reliable design
