strikecamp fitness is the brainchild of fitness kickboxing instructor heather shaffer. while heather enjoys teaching fitness kickboxing classes, she felt that they lack something. so, she decided to integrate everything she loves in a workout—high-intensity intervals, kickboxing, and the outdoors—into a new type of class, and strikecamp fitness was born. heather has more than 10 years of experience with fitness kickboxing and trained for about 1 year in mma-style kickboxing. heather prefers hardcore circuit workouts without the fluff of choreography and dance moves. she received a fitness kickboxing certification from amerikick in 2009 and is currently preparing to test for her group instructor certification and kickboxing instructor certification through afaa in september 2012, with an additional goal of becoming a certified personal trainer in 2013. in addition to her unique park workouts, heather also teaches fitness kickboxing classes at amerikick lansdale on wednesday and thursday
