Stringtime

stringtime music camp is a fun 5 day beginner violin and cello camp taught by some of the usa's best young-adult musicians. students will learn to hold an instrument, read music, and perform in an ensemble concert at the end of the week. no prior experience is required to attend and instruments will be provided. ages: completed 3rd-5th grades time: 9:00am-4:45pm (optional early drop-off 8:00am and late pick-up 6:00pm) session 1: june 20th-24th, concert: june 24th at 5:00pm session 2: june 27th-july 1st concert: july 1st at 5:00pm​ location: church of the good shepherd (9350 braddock rd. burke, va 22015) instrument selection: students pick violin or cello. students wanting to learn both instruments must attend both sessions. deposit: $75 (refundable through february 28th) tuition: $600 per session (15% sibling discount) before/after care: $50 per session daily scheduled activities instrument instruction: hold the instrument and use the bow musicianship class: note reading, theory,
