at striowski prosthetic eyes we fit and fabricate custom prosthetic eyes. located in downtown toronto, we serve patients from across the province of ontario who have lost sight in one (or both) eyes and have decided that the appearance of their non-functioning eye has become a concern for them. in our clinic we carefully mold, shape, and paint an acrylic lens to the individual’s exact specifications and comfort. through this service patients find themselves more at ease with social interaction, as their non-functioning eye becomes less of a barrier in everyday communication. though a prosthetic eye does not restore the ability to see it does allow the wearer to make eye contact more easily, connect with other people, and reflect their sense of self when they look at themselves in the mirror.
