founded in 2009, strive for is a san francisco-based volunteer run mentoring organization. our mission is to ensure that all foster youth in san francisco have access to high quality mentorship. strive for is a fiscally sponsored project of the study center, a tax-exempt 501c3 with over 30 years of local experience. the strive for team is a small group inspired by and committed to a shared vision of helping foster youth through innovative mentorship services. we are a people organization with the firm belief that our success is contingent upon providing meaningful social, emotional and professional development to everyone we work with.
