Stroke Comeback

stroke comeback is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) which provides direct services to survivors of brain trauma and their families, regardless of their ability to pay. services are provided at a community-based center in vienna, virginia. services include multiple groups addressing communication areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as one afternoon a week devoted to cognition. organization also offers fitness classes for stroke and brain trauma survivors and yoga classes for caregivers. the center also offers resources related to all aspects of stroke and brain trauma. the use of technology has become a mainstay of the recovery services offered at the center, which includes the development of speech recovery iphone/ipad applications in partnership with speakinmotion.
