strong homes-strong families is a kansas city area non-profit with the purpose of building communities and strengthening families. we offer no-cost critical repairs to homeowners in need. our founding principles: 1. we believe home ownership is the american dream 2. we believe that costly repairs often overwhelm or devastate homeowners, especially if the cost of repairs fall out of reach of their budget 3. when homes aren’t maintained properly, the home becomes an anchor, not an asset 4. we believe we can change this by bringing together generous supporters in our communities 5. lastly, we believe when a family lives in a well-maintained home with proper functioning plumbing, electrical, hvac they will have a stronger family
