this initiative was launched, initially, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote as “strong women vote”- urging women to amplify their voice with their vote. then, we were hit with unprecedented events in our lifetime - a worldwide pandemic, economic turmoil, and racial upheaval. faced with uncertainty and isolation, the initiative evolved into the “strong women alliance” – to keep us “connected” and to amplify women’s voices through virtual panels, to inspire and empower us to stay strong, advance & thrive. known as a quintessential “connector”, our founder, ellen schned, sought to curate the events to provide unique topics & strategic pairings of panelists. a large, diverse and important audience tunes into the events and follows on social media. the events are going strong and a mentorship program is launching q4 2021 with an emphasis on media, plus cross-industries, all designed to empower women to advance and thrive professionally and personally.
