strongwomen uganda is a community based organization which was established in kazigo a, nambale sub-county, iganga district. economic empowerment is central to women’s ability to overcome poverty, cope with shocks and improve their well-being. this is where swuga saw its role in terms of providing support at both policy and programme levels to remove the constraints that affect women's status, their income generating activities and resulting income. our program focuses on increasing women’s skills, decision-making power and access to economic resources. our mission is to empower women with knowledge, confidence and skills to work their way out of poverty, care for their families and strengthen their communities. you can support, partner and volunteer with us if we share the same goals and objectives by reaching out through our website and following our social media platforms to receive all the latest updates about our programs and projects.
