at strood community shop cic, our goal is to make strood and the surrounding areas somewhere we people from all walks of life can thrive, prosper and achieve in which ever way they choose. we aim to help people into employment, build their confidence & self esteem, and help them access support. we help people make sure they can have the essentials for their home and daily life. we provide opportunities for social contact for people that are isolated and lonely. most of all we’ll empower people to help themselves by giving the advice, support and guidance they need. we focus on people who need our help most, but provide a service to everyone. we work with other charities that are trying to help the same community, and use our resources to help them.
